Mitchell Bakst, CPCC, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning from 1992 to 2022. Mitchell has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their skills in project management, coaching, and marketing.
Starting from 1992, Bakst worked as an Administrative Coordinator at California Pacific Medical Center, where they supervised administrative staff and implemented new procedures that resulted in cost savings. Mitchell then moved to Marin General Hospital, where they served as an Education Liaison, producing continuing education classes and revamping orientation procedures.
In 1995, Bakst joined Taste Catering as an Event Manager, managing catered affairs, training staff, and acting as a client liaison. Simultaneously, they worked at Marin General Hospital, where they continued their role as an Education Liaison, focusing on staff education and implementing a database to track educational activity.
In 2001, Bakst became a Marketing Associate at Scientific Learning, developing marketing campaigns, coordinating trade shows, and editing marketing materials. In 2002, they transitioned to LeapFrog, initially working as an Interactive Producer in Creative Services, managing the development of creative assets for marketing campaigns. Mitchell later took on the role of Senior Manager in Corporate Meetings & Events, where they produced and managed various corporate functions and special initiatives.
From 2012 to 2015, Bakst worked at Bare Escentuals as a Senior Project Manager in Digital Marketing. In this role, they managed a creative team and delivered a large number of digital marketing assets across multiple channels. Mitchell then joined Peet's Coffee in 2017 as a Consultant and Project Lead, implementing a Digital Asset Management system and organizing the photography library.
In 2018, Bakst joined Madison Reed as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing the delivery of marketing materials and creative assets. Additionally, they served as the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Chair, leading the DEIB Committee and implementing a strategic plan.
Currently, Bakst works as a Senior Marketing Project Manager at MyFitnessPal, where they utilize their skills and experience to manage marketing projects.
Throughout their career, Bakst has demonstrated their ability to lead cross-functional teams, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive successful projects. Mitchell is also a certified professional coach, helping individuals tap into their potential and overcome challenges in their personal and professional lives.
Mitchell Bakst, CPCC has a Bachelor of Science degree in Developmental Psychology from Tufts University. Mitchell also holds a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology & Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. In addition to their academic background, Mitchell has obtained additional certifications including being a Certified Transformative Coach from Supercoach Academy, which they obtained in June 2017. Mitchell is also a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) from the International Coach Federation.
