Gilad Japhet

Gilad Japhet is the founder and CEO of MyHeritage. Prior to starting MyHeritage, Gilad was the Director of Product Management at Spearhead Technologies, a network security startup, and the Director of Program Management at BackWeb Technologies.

Gilad has played a key role in the growth of BackWeb Technologies, recognized by receiving the BackWeb CEO Award and later being selected as the company's MVP of the Year, twice.

At BackWeb, Gilad was responsible for managing the product line and overseeing sales and technical support. Gilad also worked closely with customers to design and build successful applications using BackWeb's foundation.

Gilad's experience in product management and sales, along with their technical expertise, have been instrumental in the success of MyHeritage.

Gila Japhet's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
