Melinda Docter, Ed.D. BCBA has a diverse range of work experience. Melinda currently works as a Reviewer for The Fulbright Program since 2023. From 2022, they have held multiple roles at myHHBS, including Chief Executive Officer and Clinical Director. Prior to this, they were a Fulbright Scholar at the Fulbright Association starting from 2019. Melinda also worked as a Clinical Director at Helping Hands Behavioral Solutions from 2022 to 2023. In addition, they have held academic positions such as Assistant Professor and ABA Coordinator at Northcentral University from 2020 to 2022, Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of the BCBA Program at Loyola Marymount University from 2017 to 2020, and Adjunct Professor at Pacific Oaks College from 2015 to 2017. Moreover, they served as the Education Director at Westmoreland Academy, a non-public school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, from 2012 to 2017. Finally, they were the VP of Curriculum at TeachTown from 2010 to 2012, where they were responsible for curriculum development for students with autism and other developmental delays.

Melinda Docter, Ed.D. BCBA completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at Pepperdine University. Melinda also pursued a Credential in Moderate to Severe Multiple Disabilities from California State University, Northridge. Additionally, they obtained Credentials in Administration and Regular Education from Pepperdine University, and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Education, also from Pepperdine University.

In 2012, Melinda pursued a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) degree at the University of West Florida, which they completed in 2014. Melinda also has experience as a Director at Loyola Marymount University. Currently, they are serving as a Coordinator and Assistant Professor in Applied Behavior Analysis Programs at Northcentral University, starting in 2019.
