Alexander Krug

Alexander Krug is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) within the specialty materials and chemical industries. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Mylar Specialty Films since March 2024, Krug previously held key roles at Celanese, including Global FP&A Manufacturing Integration Leader and FP&A Director for the Engineered Materials and Acetate Tow Business. With extensive experience in driving financial performance, integrating acquisitions, and supporting global manufacturing strategies, Krug also has a history of leadership positions across several companies, including Celanese Production Germany and Ticona. Krug holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Kassel and has participated in an exchange program at Lund University.
