Krista Christensen

Krista Christensen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Krista currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations at myLaurel, where they are responsible for providing high-acuity, high-complexity care in patients' homes. Prior to this, they worked at Ready as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations and Vice President of Operations.

Before joining Ready, Krista served as the Vice President of Access and Care Transformation at MultiCare Health System, where they developed and implemented a system-wide access strategy to improve patient experience and drive market-share growth. Krista also held the role of Administrator for Orthopedic and Neuroscience care lines in the Puget Sound Region, overseeing strategic planning, budgeting, and quality assessment.

Krista's earlier experience includes administrative roles at Virginia Mason Medical Center, University of Washington - UW Medicine - UWP, and University of Washington - UW Medicine - School of Medicine. Krista held various positions such as Administrative Director, Administrator Director, and Director, where they were responsible for operational management, strategic growth, and building relationships to support business development.

Krista Christensen has a diverse education history. Krista earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General from Boise State University, graduating in 1995. Krista later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix, completing their studies in 2005.

In addition to their degrees, Krista Christensen has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 1999, they became an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. In 2001, they achieved the certification of Certified Professional Coder from the AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders).

Furthermore, in 2007, Krista Christensen obtained their certification as a Certified Radiology Administrator through the AHRA: The Association for Medical Imaging Management. Krista expanded their knowledge in healthcare administration by becoming a Certified Lean Leader from the Virginia Mason Medical Center in 2014.
