Francesco Cervigni has extensive work experience as an embedded software engineering consultant. Francesco began their career at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in 2010, where they completed a thesis and internship at the PERCRO Lab. Francesco then worked as a software designer and developer at Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare from 2010 to 2011. From 2013 to 2015, Francesco held the position of embedded system software engineer at Appareo Systems. Francesco subsequently worked as an embedded software engineering consultant at Ercom from 2015 to 2016, Neoncomputing from 2016 to 2017, Chauvin Arnoux from 2017 to 2017, Siemens from 2017 to 2018, and Overkiz from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they are employed at MyLight Systems as an embedded software engineering consultant.

Francesco Cervigni pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. Francesco completed their Bachelor's degree at Università di Pisa from 2006 to 2010. In 2008 and 2009, they participated in an exchange program at Uppsala University, further deepening their knowledge in Computer Science. In 2011, they attended the CERN School of Computing, where they earned a diploma in Scientific Computing. In the same year, they joined DTU - Technical University of Denmark and pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering, which they completed in 2013. Additionally, Francesco holds a certification in TOEFL IBT with a score of 104, awarded by ETS.
