Eilis Wood

Eilis Wood is an experienced Speech and Language Therapist with a career spanning several years, beginning with a degree in Speech and Language Pathology and Therapeutics from the University of Central England in Birmingham. Currently serving as a Locum Speech and Language Therapist at Total Assist Group since February 2016, Eilis specializes in assessing children on the Autism Pathway and supporting those with complex language needs in mainstream educational settings. Eilis also has a role as Head of Therapy Services leading Speech and Language and Occupational Therapy teams in a London Borough Local Authority. Additional positions include providing pediatric therapy through short-term contracts with Mylocum Group and Pertemps Medical Limited, as well as contributing to a multi-professional Autism Diagnosis Team with MedicsPro. Previous experience includes a long-term role at NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney and various locum positions, including service in the British Army.
