Rachel Cheng

Rachel (Chavana) Cheng started their career in 2010 as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, where they worked until 2015. In 2014, they moved on to Firefly Aerospace as a Structures/Mechanisms Engineer until 2017. Rachel then returned to The University of Texas at Austin in 2016 as a Graduate Student Researcher until 2021. Currently, they are the Lead Mechanical Engineer at Mynaric starting in 2021.

Rachel (Chavana) Cheng completed their Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2015. Rachel then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, graduating in 2021.
