Rafael Probst, PhD, began their work experience as an intern at INSA Toulouse in 2007, followed by an internship at Infineon Technologies later that year. Rafael then worked as a Diploma student and later as a Research Associate at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Rafael went on to work at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics as a PhD student and later as a Postdoc. Rafael then transitioned to Menlo Systems where they worked as an R&D Engineer and Project Leader until 2020. Currently, they are employed at Mynaric as an Optical Lead Engineer.
Rafael Probst, PhD pursued a Diplom in Physik at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 2003 to 2009. In addition, they studied nanotechnology during an Erasmus program at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III from 2006 to 2007.
