Adam Gazzaley is a distinguished Professor of Neurology, Psychiatry, and Physiology at UCSF, where Adam has been involved since July 2005. In January 2017, Adam became the Executive Director of Neuroscape, a center focused on technology development and scientific research aimed at enhancing brain function. Adam co-founded Akili Interactive Labs in 2011, serving as Chief Science Advisor, where the focus is on creating clinically-validated cognitive therapeutics and diagnostics in the form of interactive video games. Additionally, Adam is a Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at JAZZ Venture Partners, which invests in experiential technologies to boost human performance. Adam's early career included a role as Co-Founder and Chief Science Advisor at Sensync from 2018 to January 2021. Adam's educational background includes a BS in Biochemistry from Binghamton University, an MD and PhD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, neurology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and a postdoctoral fellowship in Cognitive Neuroscience at UC Berkeley.
