Shawn Wiora

Shawn Wiora is the Co-Founder and Board Member of MyndVR, a virtual reality company. Prior to MyndVR, Shawn was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Creative Solutions in Healthcare from March 2013 to November 2016. Shawn is responsible for the company's growing technology vision, HR / Technology, Marketing / Technology, and Chief Digital Officer. Shawn has delivered successful innovative information systems, key cyber-security initiatives, and driven efficiencies through technology. Shawn has also led the company's navigation through the ever-changing complexities of the highly regulated healthcare industry with HIPAA, HITRUST, InfoSec and NIST. Shawn has developed information solutions that exceed the needs of operations leaders, combining efficiency with outstanding business value. Shawn has also driven the platform to support managed care, health information exchanges, payee and provider networks, and government relationships. Shawn has mentored staff at all levels and across business units while fostering a culture of embracing new ideas. Shawn is a frequent speaker / presenter at industry conferences including VMworld 2014 & 2015, HR Technology & Expo and InfluenceHR.2014 & 2015 and SecureCIO (Dallas 2015).

Shawn Wiora completed their Master of Science (M.S.) at Bobby B. Lyle School of Engineering at SMU in the Department of Electrical Engineering. They also completed their The Texas Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at the McCombs School of Business with a Major in Marketing and a Minor in Accounting. Lastly, Shawn Wiora completed High School at Bishop Lynch High School.
