Giacomo Valle

Co-founder at MYNERVA

Giacomo Valle is currently serving as an TT Assistant Professor at Chalmers University of Technology, where the Neural Bionics Lab conducts research in neuroengineering, neuroprosthetics, and brain-computer interfaces. Valle is also a Co-Founder of MYNERVA, a company that developed a neurostimulating medical device to alleviate chronic pain and restore touch sensation in diabetic neuropathy patients. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Chicago focusing on sensory feedback in brain-controlled bionic hands, and Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich working on treatments for neurologically disabled individuals. Valle has an extensive academic background with a PhD in Biorobotics from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and advanced studies in Translational Medicine.
