Amy Sweezey is an experienced meteorologist and media professional with a diverse career spanning various roles in television and education. Currently serving as a Weather Contributor for Carnival Cruise Line and a Freelance Broadcast Meteorologist for News 13 Orlando, Sweezey has also held positions as a Meteorologist and on-camera reporter for Orange County Government and as an On-camera host for CNTV. With a long-standing affiliation as a Meteorology Educator for Universal Orlando Resort since 2005, Sweezey has authored several children's books about weather, including both fiction and nonfiction titles. Additionally, Sweezey is a keynote speaker, set to present at TEDxEustis in 2024, and has been involved with Growing Bolder as a host and writer until late 2023. Educational credentials include a B.A. in Communication from Loyola University Chicago and a Broadcast Meteorology Certificate from Mississippi State University.
