Joakim Vollert's work experience includes serving as a Fellow at The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce), where they support the organization's mission and collaborates with a global network of individuals. Joakim has also worked as the Head of Sales UK&I at SCM Secure, an Edtech-Startup, and as a Core Team Member & event manager at TEDxBristol. Additionally, they co-founded STHLM MATH-CLUB, a club featured in various publications for its advanced mathematics talks. Joakim has also founded and curated TEDxYouth@Stockholm, served as ICT Coordinator and Developer at Trosa Municipal, and founded The Cage as its Creative Director. Joakim has been a TEDx speaker at TEDxStockholm and has held leadership roles at Lingofriends.com and Mynewsdesk. At Mynewsdesk, Joakim co-led a mathematics project in Stockholm with a significant budget and oversaw various initiatives related to education, including conferences, online platforms, and specialized classrooms.
Joakim Vollert began their education in 2003 at Stockholm University where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Math Teacher Education. Joakim completed this degree in 2007. In the same year, Joakim enrolled in Berghs School of Communication and obtained a Diploma in Communication & PR. Simultaneously, they also pursued a Master's Degree in the Department of Computer & Systems Sciences at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, which they successfully completed in 2007.
