Sofia Thorngren

Sofia Thorngren is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in brand and communications management. Currently serving as Head of Marketing Communications at Mynewsdesk since December 2021, Sofia oversees all external communication activities, including branding, communication strategy, content creation, and marketing campaigns. As a Co-Founder and Board Member of Sassy Media Group since September 2010, Sofia has played a pivotal role in creating engaging digital content for women across Asia, successfully building the business to generate over USD 1M in revenue. Previous roles include Group Marketing Lead FMCG at Scandi Standard, Director of Global Online Marketing at Englishtown, Marketing Communications Programme Manager at Thus Group Holdings Limited, Senior Marketing Specialist at Citrix Systems, and Strategic Account Manager at Wildell Integrated Communications. Sofia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Stockholm University.
