Ziwen Hou

Ziwen Hou has a diverse range of work experience. In 2017, they started working at Dunkin Donuts as an employee until 2019. In 2019, Ziwen became a Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania for one year and then transitioned to the role of Tutor until 2020. In 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Pickle Poll, Inc., where they migrated users in Cognito pools and improved code clarity. Most recently, in 2022, Ziwen served as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon. There, they created a new user flow with Swift, developed a wrapper for iOS drag and drop, and refactored legacy Objective-C classes.

Ziwen Hou attended Masterman Julia R Secondary School from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a High School Diploma. Following this, Ziwen Hou pursued higher education at the University of Pennsylvania from 2018 to 2022, earning a BSE degree in Computer Science. They continued their studies at the same institution from 2022 to 2023, completing their MSE degree in Computer Science.
