Linda Golar Blount

CEO, Population Health Education at Myowndoctor

Linda’s distinguished career spans over 25 years working towards eliminating health inequities. She has served as Vice president of Programmatic Impact at United Way of Greater Atlanta, National Vice President of Health Disparities at the American Cancer Society, and expert scientist at the Center of Disease Control and Prevention. She has also served as the president and CEO of the Black Women’s Health Imperative (BWHI), a role in which she has overseen more than $45 million invested in Black women’s health and led the development of an award winning and CDC recognized diabetes prevention program.

Admitted to the Forbes nonprofit Council, Linda is a sought-after speaker and a member of the American Public Health Association and the National Association of Health Services Executives.

A Michigan native, Linda holds a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering/Operations Research from Eastern Michigan University.
