Emer McCann

Emer McCann currently serves as the Head of People at MyPass Global since November 2025. Prior to this, Emer held the position of Head of People and Operations at Simply Wall St from April 2020 to November 2025, where responsibilities included acting as Chief of Staff to the CEO and overseeing Operations, People (HR), Recruitment, and Finance. Emer also founded People Pack, a Slack community for People and Culture professionals in the APAC region. Earlier experience includes serving as Community and Recruitment Manager for APAC at Deputy, contributing to the significant growth of teams across Europe and Australia, and as Talent Acquisition Manager for APAC/EMEA at GOW Recruitment, where Emer received the Perm Recruiter of the Year award in 2015 and 2016. Education includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Marketing and a minor in Human Resource from Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.
