Eric Sonsino, CPA

Eric Sonsino, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Eric is currently the Co-Founder and COO of myPocketCFO, a position they started in 2022. Prior to that, Eric worked as a Controller at Sensiba San Filippo LLP from December 2020 to March 2023. Eric also served as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Youth Speaks from October 2020 to January 2023.

Before joining myPocketCFO and Sensiba San Filippo, Eric held various senior finance and accounting roles. Eric was the VP Controller at Shipt from July 2020 to October 2020, where they led a team of 20 accountants and provided strategic direction for long-term growth.

From 2018 to 2020, Eric worked at Google as part of the Finance Operations team, managing global BPO operations and overseeing a budget of over $500 million across multiple organizations. Prior to Google, they served as a Finance Delivery and Post Merger Integration Lead at Accenture from July 2013 to May 2018.

Eric also has experience in education, having worked as a Lecturer at Shanghai University of Finance & Economics from August 2012 to July 2013.

Earlier in their career, Eric held CFO and Controller positions at Planet Technologies from September 2007 to December 2012. Eric also worked in Client Financial Management at Accenture from February 2003 to February 2007.

In 2007, Eric briefly worked as an Accounting Manager for a Private Family Office. With their extensive experience in finance and accounting, Eric Sonsino brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role at myPocketCFO.

Eric Sonsino, CPA holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Business & Finance from James Madison University. Eric also has proficiency in the Spanish language, which they acquired during their time at Universidad LCI Veritas. In addition, they are a Certified Public Accountant, having obtained their certification from the VBOA (Virginia Board of Accountancy) in October 2006.
