Matthew Rhead

Matthew Rhead has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Matthew started their career in 1987 as a Warehouseman at Mitchell International, where they supervised a team of eight workers and provided support to production activities. In 1998, they joined Appiant Technologies as a Senior Financial Analyst, contributing to the company's unified communications and information services. Matthew then moved on to the USA FCU/Navy FCU - Financial Institution in 2001 as the Director of Finance, where they oversaw budgeting, asset liability management, and financial operations.

In 2010, Matthew became the CFO and a Board Member at Caylym Technologies International, overseeing all financial aspects of the company and implementing a multi-location accounting system. After that, they joined Fortera Federal Credit Union in 2013 as the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for finance, accounting, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and board reporting. Finally, in 2016, Matthew became the Chief Financial Officer at Point Loma Credit Union.

Throughout their career, Matthew has consistently demonstrated their expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and operational oversight.

Matthew Rhead obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Finance from San Diego State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business, completing their studies from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their academic qualifications, Matthew Rhead obtained the certification of Enterprise Risk Management Expert from CUNA -- Credit Union National Association in December 2015.
