Myra Falls Mine

Myra Falls mine is located in Strathcona Provincial Park, 90 kilometres southwest of Campbell River on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The mine has been operational since 1965 and currently employs 450 employees and contractors. Myra Falls Mine has a lifespan of more than ten years. It is ramping up production to more than 800,000 metric tonnes of zinc, lead, and copper ore per year, key commodities in the transition to a lower-carbon economy.
