Michael Heck has had a varied work experience starting with volunteering for the Chester County Library System in 2007. In 2009 they began working as a Front End Employee for Wegmans Food Markets. In 2014 they were a Lab Innovation Intern for Johnson & Johnson, followed by a Research & Development Intern for The Dow Chemical Company in 2015. From 2016 to 2021 they worked for Johnson Matthey in various roles as a Process Engineer, Washcoat Engineer, and Process Control Engineer. In 2021 they began working as a Manufacturing Engineer for Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they supported laboratory scale resin production, scaled up equipment to produce larger chemical batches, and modified existing equipment. Michael is currently employed as a Process Development Engineer for Myra Vision.
Michael Heck attended The Pennsylvania State University State College from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
