Rashmi Kumar

Rashmi Kumar is the current Director at Myriad Genetics. Prior to this, they were the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at McKesson from February 2014 to June 2018. In this role, they were responsible for driving US Pharma's Information Technology strategy and operations ensuring that the company has the right talent, stays ahead of technology trends and maximizes the value of technology investments. Her goal was to drive increased productivity, better efficiency and strategic partnerships through simple and intuitive experiences for their customers, suppliers, and global workforce.

From October 2010 to January 2014, Rashmi Kumar was the Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal. In this role, they were responsible for project delivery for 4 major accounts across Utility, Logistics Supply Chain, Entertainment and HealthCare insurance industries. Rashmi was also accountable for sales, staffing, and delivery of multiple projects working very closely with CIO’s, CTO’s and IT leadership teams. Some of their notable projects include leading the IT Cost Optimization and IT Transformation Program for a large California utility, developing the strategic roadmap and reference architecture for Asset and Work Management including Mobile enablement for a large CA utility, and leading projects to support Smart Meter and Smart Grid for a major CA utility.

Rashmi Kumar has a MBA from UC Irvine and a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from BIT Sindri.
