Xiaolei Hu

Xiaolei Hu is a Hardware Automation Engineer III at Myriad Genetics since July 2022, previously holding the position of Hardware Automation Engineer II. Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Engineer at Kinnos, where responsibilities involved monitoring production controls, drafting quality management system documentation, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and designing test equipment. Xiaolei Hu also worked as a Lead Research Assistant at The Cooper Union, enhancing a geothermal sculpture with sensor technologies. Experience as a Robotics Teacher involved coaching students on robotics and developing curricula, and a role as a Chinese Interpreter supported Chinese-speaking voters at the New York City Board of Elections. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Robotics and Autonomous Systems at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, Xiaolei Hu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union.
