Bill Herr, PMP

Bill Herr, PMP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in project management and leadership roles. Bill is currently working as a Project Manager at Myriad360, specializing in network security projects and complex data center integration projects internationally. Previously, they worked at ECRS (ECR Software Corporation) as a Project Manager, where they administered the execution of various projects for small companies to Fortune 500 companies, generating significant profits during the COVID-19 pandemic. Bill also played a key role in implementing a new project management software system at ECRS.

Before that, Bill worked in the U.S. Coast Guard for over two decades. Bill served as a Senior Executive, advising senior executives on operational and personnel matters and ensuring workforce readiness. Bill championed the redesign of the organizational structure, resulting in significant time savings. Bill also worked as a Project Manager, overseeing a large-scale project in collaboration with the US State Department and the Saudi Arabian Department of Interior. Additionally, they served as the Chief of Police managing safety practices and customer service for a large facility and leading a financial training program.

Earlier in their career, Bill held several positions within the US Coast Guard, including roles as Team Leader, Operations and Planning Supervisor, Program Manager, and Communications Team Member in various locations across the United States. Bill successfully managed budgets, implemented communication frameworks, and facilitated coordination among multiple government agencies.

Bill Herr, PMP received a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources from North Carolina State University, which they completed between 1992 and 1996. Bill also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2019.
