Robert Sansom

Robert Sansom has extensive work experience in the technology and bio-technology industries. Robert founded Cambridge Angels in 2001 and served as Chairman from 2001 to 2010. Robert also held positions as Director and Chairman at Netronome, Director and Chairman at CCS, and Director at Myrtle Software, Featurespace, and Audio Analytic. Additionally, they have worked as an Investor at Connotate and as a Fellow at the Royal Academy of Engineering | Enterprise Hub. Robert has also provided support for the Cambridge Science Centre. Currently, they are serving as Director at IQGeo.

Robert Sansom obtained their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, spanning from 1978 to 1981. Robert then pursued their academic pursuits further, enrolling at Carnegie Mellon University, where they earned their PhD in Computer Science from 1982 to 1988.
