Mary Petersen has extensive experience in nursing and clinical informatics, currently serving as an RN Clinical Analyst & Informaticist at Myrtue Medical Center since January 2017. Prior to this role, Mary worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Iowa Western Community College from August 2014 to May 2017 and held multiple positions, including Team Lead and Registered Nurse, at Alegent Creighton Health from November 2002 to August 2015. Mary completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Informatics from Grand Canyon University and holds a BSN from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Additionally, Mary obtained certification as a Clinical Content Builder for electronic medical records through EPIC. Mary also earned a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
