Whitney Flora

Whitney Flora is a seasoned educator and creative professional with extensive experience in journalism and photography. Currently serving as a Fashion Contributor for Mys Tyler since April 2022 and as the Journalism Department Head and Campus Lead English Faculty at Haas Hall Academy since August 2021, Whitney brings strong leadership and curriculum development skills. As the owner of Whitney Flora Photography since October 2010, Whitney specializes in natural light photography and offers studio services. Prior roles include teaching English and journalism at various school districts, with a notable focus on photojournalism and advising a nationally recognized yearbook program. Whitney holds a Master of Education in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Henderson State University.
