Lesley Parrott-Galgay has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Lesley currently works as a Course Instructor at Gardiner Centre - Faculty of Business Administration, Memorial University, starting in October 2021. Prior to this, they were an Executive Business Partner at Mysa starting in December 2021.

In 2020, Lesley held a role at Genesis as part of the Portfolio Success team, focusing on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. From 2019 to 2020, they worked in Commercial Finance at BDC.

Earlier in their career, Lesley served as a Senior Consultant at GO Productivity from 2017 to 2019 and at St. John's Board of Trade from 2016 to 2017. Lesley was also the Head Of Corporate Development at Crosbie Group of Companies from 2011 to 2016.

Before gaining consultancy roles, Lesley had experiences in Product Management at Torstar Corporation from 2009 to 2010 and in Strategic Marketing/Innovation Management at Canadian Tire from 2006 to 2009. Lesley started their career as a Risk Analyst at Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2004 to 2006.

Lesley Parrott-Galgay completed their Bachelor of Commerce Co-operative (Hons) degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1999 to 2004. In 2005-2006, Lesley pursued an MBA degree at Copenhagen Business School, focusing on International Exchange. During the same period, they also completed another MBA degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland, specializing in Strategy & International Business. In 2020-2021, Lesley attended Centennial College for a program in Leadership and Inclusion. Additionally, Lesley obtained various certifications, including Leadership Strategies for Women from LinkedIn in May 2022, Leadership and Inclusion from Centennial College School of Business in May 2021, Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) from BUSINESS RETENTION AND EXPANSION INTERNATIONAL in March 2016, and Graduated Beta Gamma Sigma (undergraduate and graduate level) from Beta Gamma Sigma in May 2006.
