Nicolas Moreau is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and project management within the fields of natural language processing, handwriting recognition, and speech technology. Currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer at MyScript since 2012, Nicolas focuses on advancing technologies for handwriting recognition and digital ink management. Previously, Nicolas held the position of Senior Project Manager at ELDA, specializing in European project management related to speech and language technology evaluations. Earlier roles include Research Scientist at Technische Universität Berlin, where work focused on audio-visual document processing, and at Orange Labs, conducting research on automatic speech recognition. Nicolas holds a PhD from Orange Labs / Université Rennes 1 and has degrees in science and engineering from Université Rennes 1 and Télécom Bretagne, respectively.
