Sara DeLong

Strategic Partnership Manager at mySidewalk

Sara DeLong has a diverse background in public health and data visualization. Sara began their career in 2012 as the Director, Tour Guide, and Operations Coordinator for the Beloit Public Health Initiative. In 2013, they became a Volunteer Advocate for the Sexual Assault Recovery Program (SARP). In 2014, they were a Research and Evaluation Intern for the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Program Development Intern for the Boone County Health Department, and a Trained Facilitator for the CDC's Street Smart Curriculum. In 2015, they were a Program and Design Coordinator/AmeriCorps Member for HIPS. From 2016 to 2019, they were the HIV & HCV Counseling, Testing, and Referral Coordinator for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. During this time, they also worked as a Communications Specialist and COVID-19 Marketing Lead for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. In 2019, they were a Data Visualization Designer for Data Visualization Consulting. Currently, they are a Strategic Partnership Manager for mySidewalk.

Sara DeLong attended Oxbow School in 2010, studying Studio Art. Sara then went on to attend Beloit College, where they studied Health and Society and Studio Art.
