Adam Welc

Adam Welc is an experienced Staff Engineer at Mysten Labs, responsible for the development, optimization, and tooling for the Move language. With a strong background in computer science, Adam has held various technical roles in prestigious companies such as Uber, FutureWei Technologies, Oracle Labs, Adobe Systems, and Intel. Adam's expertise lies in programming languages, paradigms, Java Virtual Machine improvements, dynamically typed languages, task-parallel, data-parallel programming, and novel techniques for concurrent programming. Adam holds a PhD in Computer Science from Purdue University and a MS in Computer Science from Poznan University of Technology.
