Ron Barr has over two decades of experience in the sporting goods industry, currently serving as the Owner and President of The Outside Group Inc. since January 1999. Barr specializes in brand development, sales team building, and providing strategic sales solutions for suppliers and retailers. Additionally, Barr holds multiple principal agent roles for brands such as MYSTERY RANCH, Cascade Designs, Icebreaker, Fischer Sports, and SWIX, contributing expertise in inventory management, merchandising, and distribution for new brands. Prior experience includes a Sales and Technical Representative position at DayMen Outdoor Marketing from 1996 to 1999. Barr's educational background includes a degree in Sporting Goods Business, Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Sir Sandford Flemming College.
