Jay S. Benet

Jay S. Benet is the current Trustee at MYSTIC SEAPORT MUSEUM INC. Prior to this, they served as the Vice Chairman & Chief Financial Officer at The Travelers Companies from August 1990 to June 2020. Before that, they were a Partner at Coopers & Lybrand from September 1986 to August 1990. Jay started their career at Coopers & Lybrand as a Manager in January 1976 and remained in that role until December 1986.

Jay S. Benet has a MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School and a BA in Mathematics from Binghamton University. Jay is also a certified CPA.
