Thomas Wiedemann has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Thomas started their career as an Engineer at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in 1991 and worked there until 1993. In 1994, they joined FAST Electronic as the Director of IS & Technical Services, where they were responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and developing Turnkey-Systems.
In 1998, Thomas moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers as the Director of IT, where they served as a regional IT executive. Thomas was involved in managing the IT and Facility integration during the merger between Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand, as well as the acquisitions of other consulting firms. Thomas also led the centralization of IT infrastructure to reduce costs and improve service metrics.
In 2004, Thomas joined Modulus Video, Inc. as the Director of IT and Logistics. Thomas was responsible for multiple generations of AVC encoding platforms and implemented an international internship program for IT and Development. Modulus Video was acquired by Motorola in 2007, and Thomas continued working there until 2011. In this role, they integrated Modulus Video's encoding technology into Motorola's infrastructure and managed the Engineering environment for the Video Encoding Group.
After leaving Motorola, Thomas co-founded Mystic Video, Inc. in 2011, where they held the position of VP Operations/CFO. Thomas served as the System Architect for high density Transcoding Solutions and was responsible for the development, manufacturing, and customer delivery of the transcoding platform. Additionally, they had P&L and Finance responsibilities.

Thomas Wiedemann pursued their education at the Technical University of Munich from 1985 to 1993. During this period, they obtained a Masters degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
