Aye Chan Aung earned a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Technological University Mawlamyine between May 2011 and November 2016.

On 12 January 2017, received a License for the provision of telecommunication services, officially became the 4th operator in Myanmar. In August 2017, provided leased-line service as the first telecommunication service by Mytel. With this progress, Mytel has become the fastest growing market in Viettel's 10 foreign markets. On 11 February 2018, MYTEL achieved an important milestone for the project with a successful first call with full features of one completed modern 4G Network. On 15 March 2018, started trial sales in some provinces of Myanmar, leading on to the booming phase.
