Kyra Kyles

Kyra Kyles is an accomplished producer, director, writer, and social media director, co-founding Myth Lab Entertainment, where award-winning digital, film, and TV productions were created, including notable projects such as Don’t Like and Raps A Get You Slapped. As Chief Executive Officer at YR Media, Kyra led a significant expansion of the organization's national presence across various content production fields. Experience also includes serving as Media & Storytelling Program Officer at The Field Foundation of Illinois, where impactful strategies for ALAANA media makers were developed. Kyra held various senior editorial roles at EBONY Media Operations, including Editor-in-Chief of EBONY Magazine, significantly enhancing digital traffic and audience engagement. Prior roles encompass positions at Tribune Company as a reporter and columnist, and leading efforts in public relations at firms such as Dresner Corporate Services and Slack Barshinger. Kyra holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Northwestern University.
