Angel Custodio has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Angel started their career as a Co-Founder at cava&twitts, where they successfully organized events related to technology and various fields. Angel then worked as a Consultant at simplestudio, assisting different companies and individuals with their websites.
Angel later joined somosunared as a Co-Founder, where they created and managed seven websites based on a customized WordPress MU instance before eventually selling the project. Angel then worked at Tendencias.tv as a Developer, where they built the entire site from scratch using PHP and JavaScript.
Moving on, Angel joined Emagister.com as a Developer and played a significant role in migrating the site from CFML to PHP. Angel was also involved in UI and UX improvements. At What's On, Angel worked as a Developer and gained expertise in JS, PHP, and CSS while contributing to projects for clients such as Nespresso and Bon Preu.
Angel then took on roles at Kaltha Media Tools and Shotools.com as a Lead Developer, where they created social media monitoring tools and vertical social networks. Angel utilized technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Symfony, LESS, and MySQL to implement UI and UX designs.
At Rakuten TV, Angel worked as a Lead UI/UX Developer and later as a Lead Web Developer. Angel collaborated closely with Product Design, creating prototypes using React and ensuring optimal user experiences. Additionally, they managed and built frontend teams, defining new web apps based on client-side stacks.
Most recently, Angel worked at mytheresa.com as a Lead Frontend Engineering, leading a global launch of a new ecommerce platform. Angel managed a team spread across multiple locations, coordinated daily tasks and sprints, and utilized technologies such as Node, React, Deno, Kubernetes, AWS, Redis, and GitHub Actions.
Throughout their career, Angel has showcased their expertise in frontend development, UI/UX design, team management, and project coordination.
