Paruyr Hakobyan

Paruyr Hakobyan has extensive work experience in the field of business intelligence, database development, and software development. Paruyr is currently working at mytheresa.com as the Director of Business Intelligence. Prior to this role, they held positions as a Team Leader for Business Intelligence Development and Analytics at mytheresa.com and as a Senior Business Intelligence/Database Developer/DBA. Before joining mytheresa.com, Paruyr worked as a Senior Software Developer at IUNetworks LLC. Paruyr also worked as a Fraud and Revenue Assurance Expert/Consultant at Ethio Telecom, responsible for developing fraud and revenue assurance controls. Paruyr gained valuable experience as a SQL Server Trainer at Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia, where they provided training on database development, administration, and BI. Paruyr also served as a Fraud and Revenue Assurance Responsible at Orange Armenia (France Telecom). In addition, Paruyr worked as a Fraud and Revenue Assurance Senior Specialist at VivaCell MTC, where they developed fraud detection tools and controls. Paruyr started their career at Altacode as a Database Developer/Administrator and later worked as a Senior Software Developer at Farm Credit Armenia, where they developed financial software from scratch. Paruyr's skills include SQL Server, database development and administration, fraud detection, software development, and analytics.

Paruyr Hakobyan holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at Yerevan State University from 2005 to 2007. Paruyr Hakobyan also has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Yerevan State University, which they earned from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional, obtained in 2010.
