Tom Davidson

Tom Davidson has over 25 years of work experience in engineering and product management. Tom began their career in 1995 as a Project Leader at MJ Research. Tom then moved to Eaton Corporation Semiconductor Equipment Division (now Axcelis) as a Principal Mechanical Engineer in 1997. That same year, they also became the Director of Product Development at Snark Technologies. In 2000, they became an Engineering Program Manager at Z Corporation. Tom then moved to Harvest Automation in 2011 as a Principal Mechanical Engineer. In 2012, they became an Engineering Team Leader at File2Part Inc. and then a Senior Product Manager at Formulatrix in 2013. In 2014, they were promoted to Vice President of Engineering at Rize Inc. In 2019, they co-founded exRize and is currently the Director of Engineering at mytide Therapeutics.

Tom Davidson has a background in Mechanical Engineering. Tom completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1982. Tom then went on to The University of Kansas and earned their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1984. Tom returned to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1993 to 1995, but did not receive a degree.
