Karlijn Doorn

Karlijn Doorn is currently the Head of Operations at myTomorrows. Karlijn has previous experience working as a Program Manager and Lecturer at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, where they successfully obtained accreditation for the bachelor Psychobiology in 2015. From June 2009 to February 2010, Doorn worked as a Research Intern at the Collège de France in the Department of Neurodevelopment. In 2008, they completed a research internship at the Academic Medical Center (AMC) in the Department of Neuropathology, where they published a paper on potassium channels in epilepsy titled "Expression and Localization of Voltage Dependent Potassium Channel Kv4.2 in Epilepsy Associated Focal Lesions."

Dr. Karlijn Doorn is a neuroscientist who received their PhD from the University of Amsterdam. Karlijn also holds a Master of Science from Biomedical Science, Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Science cum laude in Psychobiology from the same school. Prior to their studies in the Netherlands, Dr. Doorn attended the Arentheem college in Arnhem, The Netherlands and the Deutsche Internationale Schule (DIS) in Jakarta Indonesia. Karlijn is also certified by the University of Amsterdam in PhD Neurobiology and by Hyphen Projects in BioBusiness Summer School.

Karlijn Doorn reports to Ronald Brus, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Dennis Akkaya - Chief Commercial Officer, Aleksandra Kovrigina - Jr. Regulatory Affairs Officer, and Diana Furtună - Head of People & Culture. Tobias Polak - Director Real-World Data, Sander Cranen - Director Quality Assurance, and Bart Ruigrok - Director Finance & Corporate Development report to Karlijn Doorn.
