Christopher Lara

Christopher Lara has significant work experience in operations, program management, and technical program management. Christopher currently holds the position of Director of Operations and Program Management at Mytra since February 2023. Previously, they worked at CloudKitchens from February 2020 to January 2023, where they held the role of Manager of Design Operations and Program Management, as well as the position of Technical Program Manager. Before that, Christopher worked at Tesla for several years, starting as an NPI Project Manager in June 2015 and progressing to the role of Senior Technical Program Manager in Core Automation & Controls Engineering. At Tesla, they were responsible for leading teams in automation controls engineering, robotics engineering, and software engineering to develop programming standards and software for factory operations. Prior to Tesla, Christopher gained experience in manufacturing engineering, production management, and project consulting, working at Caterpillar Inc. and Illinois Green Business Association. Christopher also had an internship at Progress Rail, a Caterpillar company, where they worked as a manufacturing engineering intern.

Christopher Lara attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2009, they also briefly studied Spanish Language and Culture at the University of Deusto.
