Albert Buruga

Albert Buruga has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Albert started their career as a Security Officer at Brookfield Properties in December 2010 and worked there until September 2011. Albert then joined Cubist Pharmaceuticals as a DMPK Archivist from June 2011 to November 2011. In 2012, they co-founded Youth Student-Athlete International, LLC and served as a Co-Founder until August 2017. Concurrently, in September 2012, they also worked as a Software Developer at MyUS.com, where they provided technical expertise and recommendations for IT software projects. Later, in March 2013, they transitioned to the role of IT Project Manager at MyUS.com and coordinated application development for multiple projects. In December 2013, they became the IT Manager of Support Services at MyUS.com, where they managed the support services and provided first-level support for their systems. From June 2017 until March 2021, they served as the Manager of DevOps & UI/UX at MyUS.com, and currently holds the position of Director of Technology.

Albert Buruga completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Information Systems & Operations Management (ISOM) from Suffolk University in the years 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they acquired their International Baccalaureate Diploma from the American International School of Bucharest between 2006 and 2008. Additionally, they obtained certification as an Akamai Cloud Security Certified Administrator from Akamai Technologies in the year 2014.
