David Siu, CFA

David Siu has a strong background in operations and settlement management in the financial industry. David started their career as a Settlement Administrator at Dresdner RCM Global Investors in 1998, where they acted as a liaison between custody banks and institutional brokers. In this role, they researched and reconciled trade problems and discrepancies, as well as provided trade support by correcting discrepancies, cash trades, and running various trading reports. David then joined Jurika and Voyles, LP in 1999 as a Settlement Specialist, responsible for managing the daily settlement of trades and creating daily operation and settlement procedures.

In 2003, David joined IXIS as a Senior Retail Trading Specialist and Settlement Manager, where they managed a settlement team and resolved daily settlement issues for institutional and separate managed accounts businesses. David also handled TBA purchases, pairoffs, and swaps, and managed securities data including pricing and rate updates. Additionally, they resolved client requests, contributed to the creation of trading processes, and implemented and executed procedures.

In 2006, David joined Newfleet Asset Management as a Senior FI Operations Analyst, where they brought their expertise in settlement management to the role. Finally, in 2013, they joined MyVest as an Operations Analyst, further expanding their experience in operations.

David Siu, CFA completed their Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance and International Business, from San Francisco State University in 1996.
