Ewoud De Meyer graduated in 2020 with a Master's degree in Nautical Sciences and embarked on a maritime career, spending four years navigating breakbulk and offshore vessels, while leading multinational crews. In June 2024, they transitioned to the maritime insurance sector as an Underwriter at HDI Global, applying their operational expertise to risk assessment. Concurrently, Ewoud became the youngest alderman in Grimbergen, overseeing Social Affairs and advocating for personal responsibility and lean governance. Passionate about endurance sports, Ewoud balances their professional and political pursuits with training for triathlons and long-distance cycling.
