Sevilay Altintas is a highly experienced medical oncologist currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Breast Cancer and Gynecological Oncology Unit at Antwerp University Hospital since October 2003. In addition to their clinical role, Sevilay has been actively involved in local governance as a City Council Member for Antwerp since January 2019 and has held positions within the N-VA party as a Gemeenteraadslid since April 2018. Sevilay also serves as the President of the Medical Women Association Belgium since October 2016. Sevilay completed a Doctor in Medicine degree at the University of Antwerp from 1992 to 1999 and maintains a medical practice at UZA since 1999.
