Sean Sandborgh has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Sean most recently worked at N3B Los Alamos as the Data and Sample Management Director, overseeing legacy environmental sample processing and data management. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Locus Technologies, including Vice President of Product Management, Director of Analytical Data Management, and Project Manager. Throughout their career, they have been involved in content scoping, QA/QC, implementation, and customer support for software products and environmental information management systems. Sean also has experience in project management and implementation for clients in agribusiness, mining, water/wastewater, and DOE sectors. Prior to joining Locus Technologies, they worked as a Project Engineer.

Sean Sandborgh earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Montana State University-Bozeman in 1999. Sean also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the same institution in the same year. In 2002, Sean obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University. Sean further pursued their education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University in 2011. In December 2014, Sean Sandborgh also received the certification of Registered Professional Engineer-Oregon from the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Engineering & Land Surveying.
