Jan Oberhauser

Jan Oberhauser is the founder and CEO of n8n, a software company that provides a low-code platform for automating data workflows.

Jan has over 10 years of experience in the tech industry, having founded several startups and working as a pipeline TD and compositor at leading VFX studios.

Jan's passion for technology began at an early age. Jan started their first company, showreel.tv, while still in college. After graduation, they worked as a pipeline TD and compositor at Digital Domain, Pixomondo, and Neon before starting their second company, link.fish.

In 2015, Jan founded n8n with the goal of making data workflows more efficient and easier to automate. n8n has since become one of the leading low-code platforms for automating data workflows, with over 10,000 users worldwide.

Jan Oberhauser studied Audiovisuelle Medien at Stuttgart Media University from 2009 to 2012. Jan then worked as an assistant for information and communication technology at the Scientific-Technical Academy Prof. Dr. Grübler in Isny from 2012 to 2014.
