Gerard Schmidt, currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer at Valley HealthCare System, has a wealth of experience in the field of addiction services. Prior to their current role, Schmidt held the position of Regional Director of Addiction Services at the State of West Virginia. In addition to their work in healthcare, Schmidt is also the President of NAADAC, The Association for Addiction Professionals, where Gerard serves as a Clinical Affairs Consultant. Schmidt holds a Masters of Arts in Community Health Counseling from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fairmont State University.
