Shantilal B. has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. Shantilal currently works as a Coordinator- Community Operations at Naandi Foundation since March 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at Action for Social Advancement (ASA), Bhopal, where they served as a Project Executive from January 2021 to February 2022 and as a Development Management Trainee from May 2019 to January 2021. Shantilal also interned at ActionAid India in April 2019, conducting a rapid assessment of drought-affected families and analyzing data for case study writing. Shantilal had internships at National Rurban Mission, Govt. of Odisha, Swayam Shikshan Prayog - SSP, and Narmada Bachao Andolan in 2018, where they gained experience in tasks such as preparing cluster profiles, assessing health services, forming farmer groups, and conducting surveys. In 2017, they worked as a Field Investigator for the Government of Maharashtra's Chanda te Banda Project, conducting surveys for livelihood promotion.

Shantilal B. completed a Bachelor of Economics degree at Fergusson College from 2013 to 2016. Following this, from 2017 to 2019, Shantilal pursued an M.A in Social Work in Rural Development at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, specializing in the field of Rural Development.
